Diana C. Reyes was born January 7, 1982 in the Toronto suburbs from two loving Filipino parents. From a young age she knew she would become an artist after witnessing her father paint for his night school courses. Her mother, a popular seamstress and baker, always supported Diana and her artistic ambitions. She began taking "Commercial Jazz" dance lessons at Attitudes Dance Studio in Markham, Ontario at the age of 13, but when classes became too expensive, she choreographed alone in her bedroom and eventually choreographed many high school talent shows and plays.

Obsessed with grafitti and hip hop dancing as a pre-teen, Diana searched for a name that would encompass all that she was - a funky, talented and ambitious young woman. She combined her her desire to be a "Fly Girl" with her childhood nickname "Lady Di" and cleverly came up with the name "Fly Lady Di". And the name has stuck ever since.

Her dance skills were featured in the movie "Honey" (2003 Universal) as well as music videos for Tweet, Fabolous, Ashlee Simpson, and Fall Out Boy's "Dance Dance" (winner of the MTV's"Viewer's Choice" Award 2006). She was also featured in commercials CTV promo for So You Think You Can Dance Canada choreographed by one of the show's judges, Luther Brown. Diana has also worked with world renowned choreographers such as Laurie-Ann Gibson, Darrin Henson, Jamaica, Aakomon "AJ" Jones, The Amount Boyz, and JaeBlaze. She was also privileged enough to be hired by directors such as Little X, Diane Martel, Chris Robinson, Joseph Khan, Marcus Raboy and Bille Woodruff. She performed in 2 Carnivals ("Choreographer's Ball") in New York City, choreographed by Amen Ra "Bam Bam" Valentine as well as Stretch Buddha & Tweetie.

As a young artist, Diana has won Art Awards in both elementary and high school and briefly attended McGill University for Art History. While living in New York, she performed in 35 live art shows in her first 6 months of doing live art, which gave her highlighted press internationally from New York to Tokyo.

Some of her art shows included:

COMPLEX MAGAZINE / LIVE MECHANICS - "Hip Rock Reggae", Hiro Ballroom, New York
ART BATTLES - "TRACE Magazine Featured Artists" edition, Soho, New York
DONUTS ARE FOREVER 2 - "J.Dilla Tribute", Southpaw, Brooklyn
ART BATTLES - "Live Art Showcase", Soho, New York
ART BATTLES - "Femme Fatales", Soho, New York
AFROPUNK - "Collaborative Mural", BAM, Brooklyn
BROOKLYN URBAN ARTS MARKET "Collaborative Mural", Pratt Store, Brooklyn
